SPNN Youth November Updates!

Welcome to the SPNN Youth Education Department Update for November, 2006. Today’s update includes the following items:

  1. New Youth Media Program at SPNN!
  2. Channel 16 Schedule for November
  3. Twin Cities Youth Media showing at the Walker

1. We now have a new Youth Media Program at SPNN! It is called SOL, which stands for SPNN Youth Open Lab. SOL is a place where youth who have been involved with SPNN previously, can come to create independent video projects. All they need to do is come up with an idea, and write up a short proposal. Then they will be able to check out equipment and edit during the lab time. The lab is open from 3:30-5:30 PM every Friday in the SPNN Media Lab, and will be run by Youth Programs Coordinator, Andrea Lehmann. Please check out the attached flyer, and pass it on to youth who have been involved
with SPNN Youth Programs in the past.
